The Parker Area Chamber of Commerce facilitates and promotes the prosperity of the Parker area business environment, which enhances the quality of life for the entire community.

Parker is located on the western border of Arizona on the Colorado River, 35 miles north of Interstate-10 and 40 miles south of Lake Havasu. Parker, Arizona provides easy access to 16 miles of the Colorado River, known as the Parker Recreation Strip. This stretch of river is often populated by boaters, personal watercraft, water skiers and fishermen. Parker, Arizona is the home of many organized watersporting events such as powerboat races, international water ski races, national PWC races and more. The Parker Strip is nestled between the Buckskin Mountains in Arizona and the Whipple Mountains in California. The area is surrounded by the Sonoran Desert which provides excellent off-roading for novice riders as well as professional off-road racing competitions such as the Parker 425. Our mild winters entice many out-of-state visitors who return each year for a 4 to 6 month stay. Many rent or lease homes in the area and some are second-homeowners. Those with Recreational Vehicles stay in one of more than 30 of the excellent R.V. Parks located right on the Colorado River. Parker has plenty of lodging and dining options to cater to its many visitors.
